The dishes on our blackboards are cooked to order and have been freshly prepared by Sue and her team.

 

Aaron, Dionne and Sue take great pride in sourcing local fresh produce, meat and fish to create our own home cooked favourites.

 

We aim to be as seasonal as possible and have fresh fish, meat and seafood delivered every day to ensure your food is prepared to the highest standard.

 

If there is anything that you would like to be specially prepared, please ask and we will endeavour to do this for you.

 

 

 

Sample Dishes from our Blackboard Menu

 

Fillet Steak Rossini

An 8oz fillet steak on a pate topped toasted crouton, served  with a red wine jus,  Lyonnaise potatoes and fresh vegetables

 

Liver & Bacon

A generous mound of creamy mashed potato, fresh vegetables and a rich onion gravy

 

Avocado, Prawn & Bacon Bake

A salad bowl with avocado’s wrapped in bacon and filled with prawns, baked in garlic butter and topped with sour cream

 

Oven Baked Fillet of Cod

Served on a bed of crushed new potatoes with roasted tomatoes ‘on the vine’ and green beans

 

Seafood Linguini

A generous bowl of pasta topped with exotic mixed seafood in a tomato sauce with a hint of chilli

 

Baked Fillet of Salmon

Served with a mushroom, prawn and white wine sauce, new potatoes and fresh vegetables

 

Stilton Topped Pork Chop

A thick cut chop topped with strong Stilton cheese and served with chunky potato wedges and a dressed mixed salad

 

Stuffed Chicken Breast

Fillet of chicken stuffed with fresh crabmeat and prawns, topped with a cream and white wine sauce, with sauté potatoes and  fresh vegetables

 

Sue’s Good Old Fashioned Lamb Stew

Lamb chops, root vegetables and pearl barley in rich gravy.  Served with mash and fresh vegetables

 

Beef & Horseradish Pie

A home made short crust pastry pie served with new potatoes and fresh vegetables

 

Oriental Beef Stir-Fry

Strips of prime rump steak, crispy vegetables and noodles stir-fried in oyster sauce

 

Chicken Fajitas

Chicken, peppers and onions in Cajun spices  served in a sizzling skillet with tortillas, guacamole, cheese and sour cream

 

Pan Fried Duck Breast in a Brandy & Orange Sauce

Served with Lyonnaise potatoes and a selection of seasonal

 fresh vegetables

 

Slow Roasted ½ Shoulder of Lamb

Served with creamy mash, a mint and red wine gravy and selection of fresh vegetables

 

Giant Yorkshire Pudding filled with Beef Casserole

With mash potato and fresh vegetables

Served with buttered new potatoes and a dressed mixed salad

 

Fettuccini Moda Nostra

Mediterranean vegetables in a tomato sauce served on a bed of fresh pasta

 

Vegetarian Bangers & Mash

Topped with fried onions, vegetarian gravy and served with petit pois

 

Mushroom Stroganoff

Mushrooms in a creamy paprika sauce served on a bed of rice with a dressed mixed salad and sour cream

 

Vegetable Lasagne

Mixed vegetables layered between fresh pasta sauce and topped with a cheese sauce.  Served with garlic bread and dressed mixed salad

Served in a sizzling skillet and served with tortillas, salsa, sour cream, grated cheddar and guacamole dip
